The Department of Treasury and Finance (DTF) provides the Government with economic, financial and resource management policy advice to assist the Government in delivering its policy outcomes. DTF’s innovative, expert advice balances economic, social and environmental goals within a framework of responsible financial management. Through the Government Services Group (GSG), DTF is responsible for the management of government properties across Victoria. The portfolio compromises both owned and leased premises.

Brookfield Multiplex Services provides facilities management and real estate services to GSG for this portfolio of over 100 properties

The Attorney General’s Department (NSW) operates court facilities throughout the State ranging from small rural courthouses to major metropolitan court complexes and city office blocks. It plays a key role in the administration and development of a just and equitable legal system of courts, tribunals, laws and other mechanisms that further the principles of justice and contribute to the achievement of the goals of Government.

Brookfield Multiplex provides Corporate Real Estate Services, including Facilities and Project Management to over 200 buildings that are part of AGs portfolio, including Crown owned department buildings, heritage listed sites and a number of leased properties. Amongst these facilities there are 50 strategic court buildings that are critical to the delivery of Attorney General’s core business.

 

VicTrack, VIC

VicTrack, VIC

 
VicTrack is a government rail agency that owns Victoria’s railway land and infrastructure. Its aim is to support and improve public transport and other government services by maintaining rail assets under its control, providing essential telecommunication services and managing railway property. VicTrack has both a strong commercial focus and a commitment to non-profit-making activities that benefit local communities and the environment. Revenue from property and other commercial activities is used to fund its operations and projects worth around $50 million each year for the benefit of the Victorian community. In carrying out its mission, VicTrack works closely with rail franchisees, local government, community groups and other stakeholders allowing it to contribute to the delivery of State Government policy objectives and provide social and environmental benefits for the Victorian community.

The VicTrack portfolio is one of the largest owned portfolios in Victoria with some 2,000 leases and licences under management. The portfolio is diverse and includes a mix of leased land and premises, residential land and premises, tenancy land and premises, telecommunications and leases. Brookfield Multiplex Services provides Real Estate Management services to the greater Melbourne and Geelong metropolitan region, which includes some 529 leases and licences.
