Brookfield Multiplex Services is a company geared for growth.  We have grown from only a handful of specialist personnel servicing a small number of contracts to nearly 350 highly qualified and experienced real estate, facilities, engineering, project management and finance personnel across Australia, New Zealand, the United Kingdom and the United Arab Emirates.

Timeline

  • In 1998, Brookfield Multiplex Services commenced business as "Multiplex Asset Management", delivering property and facilities management services to a small number of properties. Our contract base was largely derived from within the Multiplex Group.
  • We soon expanded our external client base, securing major contracts and firmly establishing ourselves within the Australian facilities and property management industry. We then successfully applied our capability to PPP projects as well as a number of more complex and significant contracts.
  • In 2003, the company, as part of the greater Multiplex Group, was listed on the Australian Stock Exchange. This saw a substantial expansion in Multiplex Capital’s property portfolio and our Property & Facilities Services contracts.
  • By 2005, we had grown to 200 employees and were not only attracting new clients but also renewing existing contracts, confirming our commitment to client satisfaction and our track record of fostering long-term business relationships.
  • Our product offering was expanded in 2006 to cover five specialist services: Corporate Real Estate, Facilities Management, Property Services, Project Management and Residential Services.
  • We took our property and facilities management expertise to new markets - the United Kingdom in 2006 and the United Arab Emirates in 2007. Also in 2007, the company, as part of the Multiplex Group, was acquired by Brookfield Asset Management Inc.
  • In 2008, the company was rebranded to Brookfield Multiplex Services to take into account the strength of the Brookfield brand and our expanded service offering.

Throughout the years, we have continued to work in close collaboration with our clients to deliver flexible and integrated solutions that enable them to both meet and sustain their business objectives. Our individually tailored Management Information Systems and disciplined approach to risk, underpinned by our accredited Quality, OHS & Environmental Management Systems, ensure we not only meet but exceed our clients' expectations.
