The $340 million Redevelopment of Claremont Arcade Shopping Centre is a joint venture development between Brookfield Multiplex Group and Hawaiian.
This integrated project will see the construction of Claremont Quarter, a new 30,000 sqm retail centre, along with some 1,500 car spaces and Claremont Residences; 77 luxury apartments and penthouses in two mixed use buildings right in the heart of Claremont.
The Claremont Quarter development is currently under construction in two stages.
Stage One encompasses the western half of the site. Construction is complete and the retail centre is now trading. Key tenancies include Coles, fresh food, youth fashion and services.
Stage Two encompasses the western half of the site. Construction is currently underway with completion due in 2011. On completion it will accommodate the new David Jones, high end fashion, homewares, general merchandise and cafes.
