Graduate Development Program
The Brookfield Multiplex Graduate and Cadet (undergraduate) Program is one of the construction industry's most comprehensive. Our goal is to develop well rounded, broad thinking graduates who will one day become the leaders of our global business. As a graduate or cadet, you will receive exposure to all disciplines on a construction site to ensure you experience all aspects of project delivery and to ensure you are stretched to your full potential. Our program nurtures both technical and behavioural skills in line with the broader business strategy, providing you with a clear career pathway.
Connecting and sharing between graduates and cadets is fostered through regular meetings; community projects; sporting activities; and outdoor teambuilding events such an annual national camp in Australia.
We encourage our graduates and cadets to drive their careers forward proactively - if you demonstrate the aptitude and commitment, we will support you all the way. We also recognise that any long term development program needs to be flexible enough for you to grow and apply your learning in your own way.
A world of opportunities will open for you while you are working through your program. You will be involved in building iconic structures and you will benefit from a combination of early responsibility and structured learning and development. The core of your learning will be the challenging and rewarding development you receive in your day-to-day role where you will be a critical member of your project team. You will work your way through a structured learning program involving mentoring and coaching; technical and leadership development through both on-the-job learning and formal training programs. We also offer scholarships and awards to high potential graduates and cadets, interstate and international assignments; as well as the opportunity to be involved in community projects and sporting and social activities. The learning program will allow you to focus on your continued development within your role, and work towards new challenges. Central to the graduate learning program is our values; and the way we work with each other and with our clients and contractors.
Global Opportunities
In the senior year of your graduate program, you may be provided with the exciting opportunity to work in one of our international businesses. You will spend twelve to twenty four months working in Europe, the Middle East, Asia or a new area of growth for our business. During this secondment, you will develop skills and a global perspective, which will prepare you for the next step in your career and the opportunity to progress anywhere within the organisation globally.
