Brookfield Multiplex is well underway with works as the Managing Contractor on the Building the Education Revolution Program for the Western Sydney Region as part of the Commonwealth Government’s Nation Building – Economic Stimulus Plan.
Brookfield Multiplex is managing the design and construction of infrastructure works to primary schools within the Western Sydney Region bounded by Parramatta, Blacktown, Holroyd, Nepean, Baulkham Hills, Blue Mountains and the Hawkesbury local government areas.
The works involve the provision of facilities such as school halls, libraries, covered outside learning areas, classrooms, canteens, administration blocks and upgrade of existing facilities and services. Construction is proceeding on more than 40 projects as at 1 October 2009 with commencement pending finalisation of scope and approvals for the remainder including Tranche 3 Schools that have been visited.
