Why did you choose to work for Brookfield Multiplex?
Brookfield Multiplex’s internationally distinguishable and complex projects, enticed me to want to work here. Being multinational, I knew the company would have the scope available to provide challenges that would benefit my own growth, which in turn would benefit the company’s growth as well.
What is your greatest achievement at Brookfield Multiplex?
Throughout my past two years at Brookfield Multiplex, I have had the opportunity to work on the Melbourne Convention Centre Development, focusing on Environmental Sustainability and the Greenstar submission – the worlds first 6 star Greenstar Convention Centre. Working on such a submission allowed me to learn from extremely knowledgeable people, both internal and external to the company. The submission process was challenging, however the rewards of education from the subcontractors and fellow colleagues on the Greenstar process have been invaluable.
As a result of a successful submission and being awarded the 6 star rating, I am currently working on conducting a peer review of the systems, procedures and sustainability knowledge that exists within Brookfield Multiplex, with the purpose of increasing the knowledge share and sustainability achievements throughout the company.
Do you get exposed to different areas of the business?
The variety of scope within Brookfield Multiplex has exposed me to many facets of the property industry, allowing me to develop an immense amount of skill in a relatively short time frame.
